Sorry Jenna... Michael didn't even sing... icon_frown.gif

They had a snippet of him talking about one of the singers but no singing.. it was only a few seconds, nothing more.

I honestly thought the show could have been alot better. Jamie Cullum was as always great, and i thought Paul Anka's performance was outstanding, i loved it. But i think the rest was a waste of Time really.

It could have been a really good show.

Ha! Michael made me laugh, "im getting horny now" HA! lol, cracked me up

i didnt manage to find a blank tape, thats now at the top of my shopping list icon_biggrin.gif

I was very disappointed in the show too. I cant believe the BBC messed up . They had a prime time spot, they could have done so much more with it.

Apart from being disappointed that Michael didnt sing, I thought the show was a waste of time. icon_frown.gif

The good old BBC is slacking a bit huh?

I missed it but my mum said she recorded it, and she saw it, and thought the same. I was also told that he was 'naughty' so I guess she meant the 'horny' bit which actually cracked me up. I wont rush back to Berkshire to watch it then!

I cant believe nearly a year has passed since I last saw him in Sheffield.

I am looking fwd to the glow that he gives me, and hope it lasts a long time afterwards. I miss listening to his voice with my eyes shut icon_smile.gif

PANTS! I love that expression used for all things deemed 'useless' or 'crap' and it seems to sum up this show firefly120!

I was a bit down hearted when i realised Michael wasn't performing. At least we got to see the interview clips though. I thought the show was quite good apart from that, but ruined by Tony Christie singing Amarillo at the end - not very swing!!

Well I did love the show icon_smile.gif

Man, I really wish I lived back then, so I could see The Rat Pack live. I just simply adore them. Just as Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, and I can go on for hours.

Jamie Cullum was great and I loved Paul Anka with ''Jump''! Not to mention the musical Rat Pack. And the guy from Simply Red was good too.

Michael's comments were great. Too bad he didn't sing, but I loved the part when he said the music was like making love, and then got horny haha!! icon_smile.gif

Thanks for that Nami. Must admit I've never heard the expression before.
