32 posts in this topic

OK well as some of you may know I am a celebrity yearbook collector. I have been on the lookout for nearly a year for Michael's yearbook on ebay, but so far nothing ... so here is what I am willing to pay ...

$125 - Senior year
$100 - Junior year
$75 - ANY year, junior or high school

I haven't seen any of these yearbooks, but the prices above reflect the assumption that he has a standard single class headhost in the yearbook.

Let me know if anyone finds one! Thanks!

Daniel, have you tried contacting the High school's in Burnaby, BC-V5A 2T6, Canada? For my cousin's 30th birthday I contacted her High School, because for year's I heard the story about those Bast***'s not giving her, her diploma, because she never turned a book that she was supposed to! I sent them what she owed on the book, & they mailed me her Diploma! and I bought her a year book from her year! All for under $50.00. And she graduated 12 years earlier! so maybe I got lucky, but it's worth a shot! Good Luck! I'll do some searchin for ya too! And keep you posted! silverbells icon_wink.gif

Buble4me ... those prices are definitely inflated. I have a few of the yearbooks listed on that site and I bought them on ebay for MUCH less.

Thanks for checking Silverbells. I am trying to confirm the exact years and schools still before pursuing the school route. I know he went to Cariboo but not 100% positive on the years or how much he appears in the yearbooks.

Hi Daniel,

I am 2 weeks older than Michael and I graduated in '93. I am not sure that that the school system in Canada corresponds exactly in years with the US, but this at least might give you an idea.

In the past couple days I got from ebay George Lucas, Kevin Spacey (actress Mare Winningham also attended the same year), John Cusack (Actor Jeremy Piven also attended the same year) and Yvonne Craig who played BATGIRL in the Batman tv series.

I have about 60 yearbooks. Just a few of the "big names" that I have ...

George Clooney, President Bill Clinton, Goldie Hawn, David Letterman, Charles Lindbergh, Halle Berry, Tori Amos, Lauren Bacall, Bettie Page, Dita Von Teese, James Dean, Leonardo DiCaprio, Steve Martin, Nicolas Cage and many others!!! icon_biggrin.gif

Well I got a response from his high school ...

"Hi Daniel,

Thank you for your interest in one of our yearbooks. We are all very big Michael Buble fans here at Cariboo Hill, but unfortunately, we do not have any extra copies of our

1993 yearbook. I'm very sorry that we couldn't help you."

That's so cool! Very fun!

Good luck with your quest, Daniel. Let us know how you make out. I can get you a copy of the 1993 yearbook from Hempfield High School, Landisville, PA if you want...okay...not as much in demand as the other...

Thanks! It's an interesting hobby. Mostly I get the "Huh??" looks when I tell people I collect them icon_biggrin.gif

My first one was Tori Amos .... 2nd was Brandon Lee ... 3rd was James Dean ....

Then I lose track after that!

I just got John Cusack, Barbara Eden and Kevin Spacey and a couple others last week ...

Daniel,

If you could find out the company that produced the yearbook, I'll bet that they keep a plate of the original. You could possibly buy a copy through them. I'd contact the school again to get the info.

dude, what does senior, junior, etc. mean?

At Cariboo, we just had grades 8-12. My yearbook is not for sale, but i DO have a video yearbook that has live footage of mikey basically hosting our grad event. There is also a brief shot of him singing "Na Na Na Hey Hey Good-bye"

Hey Temarino -

Grade 12 - "Senior" in the U.S.

Grade 11 - "Junior:

Grade 10 - "Sophomore"

Grade 9 - "Freshman"

Grade 8 and earlier is usually Junior High

Can you tell me the name of the publisher of your yearbook so that maybe I can write to them and see if there are any extras?

Thanks so much!

Published by Friesen Yearbooks. I'll check around with my old schoolmates and see if any of them want to part with their '93 yearbook. You'll understand that if it was any other year other than my grad year, I would have no problem parting with it, of course.
