Hi there. I hope this will help. JCPenney is having a special

sale on peacoats (which is the type of coat that you mention.)

They have a choice of styles. It's a very popular type of

coat now and is a classic.

Hope you find one.

Jo

Josephine, if you look again, it's not a peacoat. It's much too long, the fabric is wrong too: this doesn't appear to be a heavy wool but perhaps a gabardine. It definitely is a short trench coat. It's belted and has a back rain flap, a central vent, belted cuffs and is double-breasted and has a napoleonic collar. On my monitor it appears navy. "ineed...", Burberry invented the trench coat and they have lots of styles, but they tend to be pricey. They are top quality, but you can find other, more affordable brands of trench coats everywhere.

Thank you, VEGI! Once again, I've learned it's very

important to be careful and not jump to conclusions.

I'm so glad you came on and gave her the right infor-

mation. Sorry to say I was in a hurry and was not

looking at that particular shot. Recently I read

a post where a man said he was glad that Michael

had brought the peacoat back in style and my son

plans to get one. Yes, it's plain (in the quick

shot) that one is navy. Anyway, I plan to be

more careful.

Hey, INEED..., sorry about that. It's great that

VEGI had the full info!

Good luck.

Jo,

don't worry about it. I'm a fashion geek, so I love this stuff. I really do like pea coats, but my vintage Burberry trench coat is one of my very favorite pieces. Michael looks great in everything, but everyone looks great in a trench!

VEGI, thanks. I know what you mean about trenchcoats.

I've have many over the years and still have one in my

closet. I mainly like classic styles and am glad that

now we have more chances to get them as opposed to some

years when everybody seemed to be wearing the same

style of the day.

Take care,

Jo
