Hmm there are many books I like, and many good books I never read yet.

Books I liked: The Giver, The Golden Compass, Thief Lord, Artemis Fowl.

Haha, yes I like novels that are for kids. I used to like Animorphs so much. That was years and years ago.

My favorite books are

The Book Thief - A book about a girl, her friend, her family, and the jewish man hiding in their basement in early WW2.

and.....

This I Believe - The Personal Philosophies Of Remarkable Men And Women - A series of essays written by everyone from Helen Keller and Albert Einstein to Azar Nafisi and Penn Gilette. It's definitely on the list of "100 books everyone should read before they die".

If I think of any more, I'll add.

I'm a voracious reader....so naming favorites is a little difficult for me as I tend to have a LARGE list...LOL

The Phantom - Susan Kay

Such a wonderful telling of the whole story of the Phantom of the Opera from his perspective. I sobbed through it. Its one of those books that makes you re-evaluate how you view the world. Truly incredible.

Eat, Pray, Love - Elizabeth Gilbert

Funny as anything but also wonderful in showing you that your not alone in your thoughts, feelings, ect

Pride & Prejudice - Jane Austen

How can you not fall in love with Mr. Darcy and love Elizabeth for her feisty and forward thinking ways?

the Avalon Series by Marion Zimmer Bradley

Fantasy but incredible

Anything by Maeve Binchy, Rosamunde Pilcher and I love Dan Brown's books as well.

All time favorite book would have to be The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. It's a wonderful story about a librarian who has a genetic disorder causing him to travel back and forth in times of his life and the how it effects his marriage and life. I cried through the entire last quarter of the book. Its being made into a movie that should be out sometime in November I believe and I have such mixed emotions because I have to see it but I'll be mad if they ruin the story line. lol. Double edged sword. But I would recommend the book to EVERYONE, men and women alike.
