"Mom Amber Bublé....Got a Minute?"

15,281 posts in this topic

Being a Mom I know your emotions are mixed.

......Yes...About having a son so adored by

literaly millions of women....There has to be a smile and a concern also....

I know the concern is there...Because you

reminded him regardless of his fame and fortune.

.......He is still the same schmuck he was before all this happened.....I love your attitude.....Is there a boy alive that doesn't

need to be told "Where the bear sleeps" by his Mom?.....

I have pondered over and over what it is

that your son has?

I have already suggested it's that he makes us all feel we are worthy to be loved...

I have already mentioned he makes passionate love to his audience...

But this morning something new came to me....It is deadly hot where I live....The very hottest it has ever been on record....So I'm

laying in my bed trying to find a good enough reason to get up.....And looking at my Fan turn the air and making it move!

The thought came to me.....Even in a hot

department store if the air moves you can deal with it...

My next thought.....Could this possibly be

what Michael does to us?

To the best of us our life does get stuffy

.......Even at the best of times.....

I believe this is exactly what Michael has done to us.....He has stirred something inside of us that hasn't moved for a while and has not

only lit the flame but caused a "Combustible

Explosion".....Yes!..Similar to the Olympic

Torch that will not be going out any time soon.

We have fallen in love with the excitement

of LOVE.....Call it Hope!....Call it whatever..

Michael has turned out to be the greatest

salesman in the entire world......

He stands up there every night and sells

as only he can....The Power of Love.....And we

have all bought it.....What's more.....We love

it and never want to be without it...

I guess I can say he has stirred up the pot

within us.....Does that sound right?

We are all born with love.....Could you have ever known that Michael would be such a good pot stirrer?

One more thing....When David Foster said..

........."There is no romance in music any more"

There is definitely a void there.....I think

Michael can fill that void........Man were there ever truer words spoken?

He had the message....the Messenger.....

And the one that could deliver the message!

It was a "Go" from the beginning.....

"Chinaman say....Granmas velly smaht

live velly much deys to be velly smaht"

I didn't say that...Chinaman did.....

Just a granma and luvin it!

P.S. In reading this over.....Just one more

thing.....What Michael has brought to life

within us...is "Huge"......

He turned on the fan and made things move....Will he ever know how many lives he has touched and how many broken hearts he has

rescued?....And he has brought a breath of fresh air which probably is the most priceless thing of all....to a world that is choking with the smoke of hate...

Please tell Michael "We adore his breath

of fresh air".....And could we please have a little more......This way!...Please!.....

We want more in AMER-EE-Cah!....

I promise this will be the last...But you deserve to know how your boy has touched us...

Love Ya!

Irene, you just blow me away. I heard his voice and my life changed. I felt like I was going thru the motions and then Michael came along. I wake up excited with more energy than women half my age. His music just does it for me. Every day I must have my fix. Thanks for your posts

Irene, I have to totally agree with you. I think I said in another post that my life has changed alot since I first heard Michael sing. Things within me have changed even more after seeing Michael live. He really makes you feel like you are important as a person and as a fan. I know artists say there fans are important, but Michael has a way to make you feel important. Whether it's from his music, his humor or the interaction and eye contact with the audience..it all feels genuine. That is during the show. Meeting him in person...even for a minute or two..he also has a way to make you feel special or important..even if you don't think you are. BTW, I thought it was great he was carrying his own luggage out to the bus. It's something small, but I think it says he is still grounded.

I don't think I said that the way I wanted, but I think you can understand what I mean.

Ok, I need to sign off now..I think I am going to get emotional!

Jenn........I love to hear your posts and

anything you have to say......especially when you post to me......Then I kinda feel I have

permission to post back.....

It's funny that you mention about carrying

his own luggage......I remember him saying....

Now I'm not sure where but he said....He had

washed his socks and laid them out on the floor.......

It was in a much earlier time....probably when he first started on tour.....But I thought then that you can take the boy away.....But you can't take away the boy.....I just think he's a down to earth kinda kid......

Remember when they wanted him to pick out a car for him to drive?.........And he asked

which was the cheapest?.............Then he said....."I'll take that"!

I don't think he's caught up in the fancies......I think he's really trying to

establish a base.....That will carry him...

And then he'll probably have a family and make records ...I mean CD's.....

I also remember him saying.....He wanted to help his sisters {and family} get homes.....

I have a very good memory .....I think I remember everything he has ever said......

Sorry Michael......I never had any brothers

.........But how great to have a bro like you?

Lucky sisters.....And he has said many

times how beautiful you both are......And how much he loves you......He couldn't possibly

have so much love to give .....If it weren't already in him!........

And to Amber.....A boy gets his first image

and most impressionable image of women from his

Mom..........

Michael from his own mouth has said...."He is completely fascinated by women"...

And Michael does not have a forked tongue......

This leaves me in awe......Wouldn't we

all like to know just exactly how to raise a boy

with enough love inside of him for not only to

idolize his mom but make millions of women all over the world feel he has enough love for them

too?

What can I say?.......

Fantastic for you Mom Buble.......

And to Jenn I didn't mean to ramble off but

just thought I'd chat a bit.....

.......To Mom Amber Buble'....You have done one heck of a job with your Boy.....He loves you and

......He seems to love the world.....And it

appears as though he has never been happier....

But if I know you like I think I know you........You take very little of the credit

.......That's the way good Moms are......

........Thanks for postin me Jenn.....I got to

toss a few percs to a Mom we all have to adore!

Just a granma and lovin it!

I read this thread and I was moved to post. Irene, you have said what we all have been feeling. I was already drawn to the music that Michael performs, but what drew me to Michael was his humanity. He maintains his humanity and shares this - possibly without even realizing it. He reaches out to people in the most endearing and genuine ways.

I will share an experience that I witnessed; though I am leary about sharing this as I feel that it is not mine to share. It felt like I was witnessing a personal experience between Michael and one of his fans... but it is a testament to Michael and so I will post in any case.

After a show, when Michael walked out to greet his fans (he was evidently exhausted) he stood for over an hour signing and hugging fans. There was a woman escorted by two family members and my friend and I directed them up towards Michael. The family members informed Michael that the woman was blind and that she would recognize him by his voice. Michael took her hands and asked how she would know what he looks like. He spoke gently to her then took her hands and put them on his face and laughed and joked about the features of his face as her fingers glided over his nose and lips. It was one of the most tender moments I have witnessed..(I do have some experience working with sensory impaired individuals - and this gesture is one of the most intimate forms of connection) I know that no one here is surprised by it.. nor am I, but it was still a sweet moment and I felt special to be able to witness it.

Mom Buble - thank you for allowing us all to share these little moments with your son; Michael is undoubtedly a talented entertainer, but more importantly, he is a remarkable individual with a noble heart. Thank you.

Shelley

Shelley - I have a lump in my throat just reading this. Many people in Michael's situation would be caught off guard and wouldn't know what to do (that would be me!!). Instead it appears that he didn't think twice about it. He knew how to share the gift of sight. He made that fan feel included in every aspect of him - visual and auditory. It's stories like these that keep re-affirming what I've felt a long time now.....Michael (and his family!) just make me want to be a better person.

Shelley..........What an honor that you felt impressed to mention your beautiful experience in a reply to me......

I am truly touched......It's hard to imagine that when Michael has so many things

going for him publicly and for us all to see...

.......That there is something inside that even

may take on a deeper meaning than what is so obvious to us all.........

When you hear fans say how sweet and kind

he is to them......It's not an act.........He

really is that kinda guy!

Amazing!......Beautiful story and I can't thank you enough for sharing it......To me ...These are the kinda stories that make

people want to be better.....Improve the quality

of their life......And here its our very own

Michael that was the "Good Samaritan".......

........What Michael did in this little story

.......Was an act of love.....A natural reaction

where he didn't have time to analyze it.....He

reacted to it......That's what made it so pure

and real.....and precious.....

I hope you are listening Mom Amber.....We

are speaking of your son.......You remember the one you called a schmuck?..........

I'm sure Michael has jabbed you a time or

two!.......That's what people do when they love

each other......Their love only intensifies as

they lick their wounds......Have plenty of

band-aids......Learn to bounce.....

Believe it or not......I think we have a real family here!.....Only to prove great and

wonderful things can happen to anybody......It

all depends on the size of the heart........

Do we have any doubt Michaels heart is ...

gigantic?....or should I say enormous?.....

or should I say sweet and tender?

It's all in what we choose to see....

Thanks again!.....Shelley......You were

inspired to share that with us.......

Just a granma and lovin it!

WOW!! Just in reading that, I'm speechless, and trust me, that NEVER happens!! It's like you are living in my head, (and heart), when you talk about Michael. I have tried to describe him and how he makes us all feel to people who have never heard of him and it seems I can never come up with the right words. It's kind of like, "here, listen for yourself and tell me how you feel afterwards!" Thank you so much for reaching into us all and putting our feelings about Michael into "the most perfect description of the most perfect person."

Mom Buble...You must be so proud!! Of both Michael, and yourself!! He couldn't have turned out any better! I honestly was starting to believe that maybe love was 'overrated', but since listening to Michael and hearing him talk about his family, I know now that I was VERY wrong!

Much love!!!

For goodness sake, I'm crying. My mother was blind and that is what she used to do. Michael did that? The man is so human. I hope nothing ever changes him. Thanks to Michael's family.--------- Luvbuble I have tried to explain Michael to other people and become a blithering idiot.

MadameBuble...Oh geez, I thought it was just me. I used to think I was much more articulate than I seem to be when I talk about Michael. I'm 26 years old, but when he comes up I become a goofy 12 year old girl!! icon_biggrin.gif

Yes, I am proud of Michael, as I am of all my children, they are all so special, but I just want you all to know, that I am also proud of all of you, because of that something "special" that you have brought to us...also the energy, love and total support you give to Michael when he is on and off stage, and the way you all have become like a family with each other!!! With this board, and through all of you, I find out what Michael is doing each day, and it brings me closer to him when he is away,(which is always it seems). I love reading about everyones concert stories, reviews, and the funny things that happen to some of you before or after you go to the concerts!!

everytime i think you use the perfect words to describe something that most of us feel but are not able to express it in such a wonderful and felicitous way and everytime i think you cannot touch me more with a post you prove me wrong with your next post.

i hope you will never stop posting on this board.

thank you very much too, amber! it was said in another post that michael has the gift to make people in the audience and everyone he meets feel special. he can only do that because you made him feel very special and he is now able to pass that on.

i totally agree with you, karen! i am glad i found this board and can be part of something so marvelous and moving.

Shelley, that is a beautiful story and I thank you so much for sharing it with us. I have done volunteer work with impaired children, and people like Michael who are so accommodating to these situations make such a big difference.

And as always, Amber, I thank you for your sweet words. Just as you say we'll never know what the fans have given to you and the rest of the family, you'll never know how much joy you have given us icon_smile.gif

Hi All, Tickles from Australia here! THESE STORIES are amazing and the reason I keep tuning in to this board icon_eek.gif!!!Does anyone remember a moment during the filming of Michael's DVD, where he was sitting in the back of a cab? He was joking about "love" and that he had so much of it to give - so much, that he could "..turn this world around.." icon_smile.gif Well,it seems the stories on this thread are testiment to what he was talking about. Love from Tickles

Mom Amber Buble'......

I knew that you were close by.......

I have spoken to you through my thoughts so many times......Every day in fact......Every time I mention Michaels name...you are there..........

I knew early on the important place that you occupy in his heart.......I remember during an interview.....A reporter wanting to know every single detail about him....asked "Michael.

.........If you knew you had only one day left to live....How would you like to spend it?"....

....Michael took about one second to answer ....

"I would run home as fast as I could.....Put my arms around my Mom....Hug her as tight as I

could and cry my eyes out."

I mean......How many Moms would give every thing they have to have one of their children feel that way about them?

The subject of Moms is very dear to my heart.....When I was a tiny little girl..and they asked us in Kindergarten what each of us wanted to be when we grew up?....I blurted out

"A Mom"...They put this on a slip and burried it in a box...And then opened it in 20 years...

It was amazing.....How many actually made

it to their goal......At that age.....And then

I can't help think of Michael.....There was

just no doubt he knew.......

I have often been amazed at the wisdom of these little ones.....I believe they are far

wiser than we know.....

And I can't help but think somewhere inside of them....They are driven to do certain things......I don't think I am far off on this one.....I think there are some that are gifted

far beyond what others are.....And I have always

thought Michaels gift was way beyond normal.....

That voice is absolutely unreal.........

An average person can be anywhere....in a grocery store.....in a mall.....And if his voice comes on......Your ears go into "Alert

Mode".....You have got to know who that is....

You have heard these very experiences on this board.......I kid you not!........

And not only that......What is he singing

about?........Just a little tiny thing.....that is only the greatest power on earth..."LOVE"

I think when Michael was a little boy....

He knew what he was about!.....There was a force

inside him telling him this was his mission

by giving him this love that he had for this music.....And then his Granpa......This is a

little love story between he and his granpa

that is just precious.....

Let's get real here!......How often does

a young kid.....4 or 5 years old fall in love

with "Granma and Granpa" music?

It just doesn't happen.....And then he's afraid his friends will think he's a Nerd and

so he has to be a "Closet Crooner".....

But that doesn't even stop him!....For a young kid to go up against all his peers? and

still maintain that drive that he's had all

these years.........This is one heck of a story that should be told!......And then how this

story ends.....If it doesn't beat all!.....

This little boy who has been on his own

personal crusade since he was born.......To

be where he is at this moment........To fight as

many odds as he did.......Should be a testament

to young kids all over the world.........

Not only is he georgeous on the outside...

But I think because he followed his dream and

........He followed his heart......That it has all led to his becoming this beautiful son...

......That would make any woman in the world

Beam like a Light House.....

Please forgive me for going on.....But I'm

a Mom.....And I know how Moms are.....They spend half their time praying and the other half

nursing their sore knees......

We all adore Michael but there is only one that can say...."Yes...I'm his Mom"

I hope this wasn't too long.....But it comes straight from my heart....I can't help it I just had to tell you......Whatever it was that

you obviously did to instill within Michael the love that is there......I have tears in my eyes trying to express my gratitude.....

May Gods choicest blessings be with you

and yours......

Just a granma and lovin it!

Irene hope...you nailed it right on the head! What wonderful people the Buble family are as they have obviously left so much of themselves in their children.

MomBuble...I don't know if there are any more words to describe how incredibly grateful we are to your son for reinstilling the "hope" of love. You really have an amazing family!! (and that's so hard to come by these days!!)

Much love!!
