In Topic: Disappointed with Mr. Buble's behavior

Hello Crystalm2!!!
I too attended the Raleigh, NC concert! That was my first time seeing him in concert! I just have to say that I disagree with you! He was beyond amazing. You have to understand that he is a jokester! Everything that he was saying and doing was pretty much rehearsed and he was just teasin! You have to have a sense of humor and be completely open minded with him because he has such a spontaneous and sparatic sense of humor and personality. Another thing all of us need to consider is he too is human! He too goes through frustrations and hard times and no matter how much you or I paid to see him, whatever extraneous variables taking place in his life right then are going to show through.......no matter how much he would like to keep them surpressed and put on a happy face....because that's what he gets "paid to do". It doesn't make sense. He, just like us, needs room for err too. I hope not to offend anyone I just feel it's unfair to treat him as if it is a MUST that he pulls through for us and completely satisfies our every entertainment desire..........not gonna always happen! Like he said......which was absolutely hilarious might I add, " you already paid for your tickets" He's gettin paid whether you're satisfied or not. So just take it for what it was....Absolutely Amazing!

YES....I am a newbie but a newbie that's absolutely engulfed in BUBLE! ;)

Hey,I know there have been, like, 35 or so replies to this poor woman's post but I have to aggree with ShailaMarie. IT'S AN ACT!!!!!! If you go on youtube and type in any city and watch one of his teasings, it will be generally the same in any other city. He does the same bits in every city. It's a script...that he did help write, but it is rehearsed. He's joking most of the time. I have to admit, when I saw him, I thought it was real, too. I thought he was a complete smartass and honestly, thought he was kind of a jerk. Because I took what he said seriously. Most artists are not that sarcastic and not that much into their shows. They play the songs (or sing them) and that's it. That's the show. Michael gives a little more and I like that. No one gets short-changed. Every city he goes into the audience, in every city a woman grabs his ass and he's "surprised" by it. He makes every city feel like they're seeing something special. He makes everyone feel special without leaving anyone out. I don't know if that makes sense but anyway...Bottom line, it's not real. Yeah, he's not a "good boy" but who is? Sinatra wasn't. Martin wasn't. Why should he be any different? I feel like you were expecting him to charm you, like his music does. But that's not who he is and that's not who anyone is. He doesn't want to fake it and why should he? It's not nearly as entertaining.

Thank you so much for responding. I appreciate that. Thanks for the info for tickets, as well. I will keep that in mind.

Lots of love,

Dawn

I cannot recall anything specific happening at that time. Both the friday and saturday Sydney shows were great though I know he definitely suffers from jetlag. It is not unusual for Michael to get emotional at times on stage. He has become so huge here and selling out the Entertainment Centre for 5 shows would certainly have had an effect on him.

Hubby and I spoke with him a couple of days later and he said he was tired and suffering from a sore throat which he said just kept returning but that was not evident on stage.

You can see some other videos that I put on Youtube from the first Sydney concert and some of these show Michael bantering between songs (sydneygirl1952)

The only place that you could get front row seats was through ebay and a number of people on this board did just that myself included. It is the only place to be for a Bublé concert.

Take care

Anne

I too went to the concert on the 31st in Sydney and it was truly amazing and so funny - he is such a great entertainer. It was so good I went to a second concert in June and scored front row seats - thanks ebay! lol.

Can you tell me anything about what I asked about in my last post? No one seems to want to tell me. If there is anyone else out there who saw that concert please, can you answer my question about it? Thanks

Welcome to the board!!!

I'm the one (Mariannet80 on youtube) who uploaded those videos of Michael live in Sydney and it was a couple of amazing shows I attended. The best would have been the first night when I was front row centre right in front of Michael it wss just wow no other words can explain it!

I'm glad that you enjoyed my videos as much as I enjoyed recording them to share with everone.

Hey, You!
I tried contacting you through Youtube but I never got a reply. I was wondering if he said what was going on with him that night or if it was just general energy. You got some fantastic footage and I am so grateful that you shared it. Also, I was wondering if you had any footage of him talking in-between songs. I was really interested in what he said after "Everything". If you have any footage left, would you be willing to post it on Youtube? Thanks again. And, how did you get those seats? Did you just pay a lot for them or what? I want to be in the front row next time I see him and any inside info would be awesome. Thanks!
