that's great for all the carolines-its a fun song!!

i'm sure there's a susie song somewhere(just can't hink of 1 now!)
only know 1 Joey song, by concrete blonde (not too much fun though!!)

My actual name is Susannah, and there's the old folk song, "Oh Susannah" that has plagued me my entire life. LOL

I love that song, "Joey." It's on my Ipod, actually!!!

GHG (ahem!!), I'm glad you like the little video of Sweet Caroline. If you're ever in Boston, I'll meet you at Fenway and buy you a beer. xoxoxo

I am pretty sure, because of the song's lyrics, it was written and recorded just for the show. Very cute song, and 30 Rock is very lucky to have such a talented artist like Michael to do that for them. :)

To Caroline of Wales and Caroline of London!!!

One phenomena of living in New England is the sports teams we have. Chief among them, the World Series champion baseball team, the Boston Red Sox. Their home base is in Boston at Fenway Park. In-between innings, they will play music through the speakers and the fans have a sing-along. For roughly 30 or so years now, Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" is a fan favorite. An odd choice, and no one knows quite WHY it's so popular, but it lends itself to some GREAT commradery and chanting. Perhaps it's to do with Caroline Kennedy, President Kennedy's daughter, all of whom hail from Boston.

While it's not the official song of the Red Sox, it's a HUGE favorite. I've added a link to a Youtube video of what it's like in the stands when Sweet Caroline is played. In your honor, ladies.....

I am a proud member of Bungalow B, going on 3 years now. I think it has a lot of room for growth and improvement. I get the distinct impression that Warner Bros. does not know what to do with it, i.e., what the direction of the fan club should be, what Michael's involvement should be, etc. It's more of a place to meet fellow fans on the board (I've made life-long friends) and for a few contests here and there (I've met Michael twice at Meet and Greets through the fan club). So far, it's what you make of it, not what's really being offered.

There have been a few bumps in the road, and a few screw-ups, too. But there have been some amazing opportunities that I, for one, would NEVER have had without being a member. But with some suggestions and gentle pressure from its members, and an open mind from the Warner Bros. brass, I believe it can be a really great club, that hopefully will have more actual involvement from Michael.

To quote the great Steve Miller:

'Cause I'm a picker, I'm a grinner
I'm a lover and I'm a sinner
I play my music in the sun
I'm a joker, I'm a smoker
I'm a midnight toker
I get my lovin' on the run

I think this could quite possibly be Michael's theme song!!     Just jokes, folks....just jokes.....

Glad you like my pic, CC. I can't believe I took it myself *cringe* How "facebook" of me. But, it's typical of me to cut my own forehead off in the pic. Thought I looked all cute, sweet and sassy and boom. Can't even get the whole humongo head in there. *tsk tsks myself* Par for the course, I'm afraid.

I adore ABBA. I haven't seen the film (although Meryl Streep can do no wrong in my eyes, so it must be good!) Hope you're having fun with your MIL!!

*sings* Really like your peaches, wanna shake your treeeee...........
