Greg..................Nice to hear your comments.............I probably miss your Mom more than anyone......

She was always so kind to me...........likewise as I miss Loretta also......No one will ever know how

much..........................We were all pretty much

the same age..........And we shared each others humor..............It was difficult to delete so many

words that were in our vocabulary then..... because there was only one connotation........Now if I use

[you give your dog a bone]........in a different meaning.........[It was a bone of contention].........

and added 'er on to that.........meaning [it was a stupid thing to do]........it will be deleted............

so much for spelling out my age.........I remember when I was in grade school using that word.........

because we were all stupid kids then........and we laughed a lot..............but it had only one meaning......

.It was a different time.....different day...........and that is why it was so refreshing.....................

...Anyway like I said............there are so many thoughts about how Michael should use his gorgeous

vocal chords...........We love him all ways..........but of course we have our preference...............

.You are the younger set...........He already had us older ones in his pocket..........his aim is to have

everyone love him.........And he is getting there........wouldn't you say?    Nice to hear what others think?...

                    Hi Shelley.............I think I have been listening to Michael from the beginning.........If you asked a hundred people

this same question........I am sure you would get a hundred different answers.......But for me.........The inflection of his voice is

not the same on everything he sings..........in listenining to his interviews he explains why............His music is a D&A of where he

is emotionally in his life................probably it is the same with most artists.............They express themselves totally in the way

they perceive themselves.............emotionally especially............and often some are more honest than others.........like country

artists........they tell you exactly like it is...............I think with Michael in the beginning was so hungry for success he

dug down so deep inside inside himself he emptied the treasure chest..........and it paid off for him.........He won over millions

of people who were waiting for someone to really feel the meaning of life......... about the personal need for love that a person

needs to survive..............And about loss............And about abuse........and injustice..................and then Michael came along and .....

switched gears for us.........turned the head-lights on.........suddenly their was a rainbow in the sky that seemed to rise above

what was so dismal...........and the different shades in the rainbow were shouting to us.........Hope.....Love.....peace......faith.........

and a calmness came that has stayed with loyal fans of Michaels..........We all with no exception alter the things we do.........

in every facet of our life ...........But what we are stands the test of time.........Like our children........We ride the Giant roller-

coaster of life with them..........but in the end what's in them will win .......................I think Michael will in the end

.............come back to singing what he started with.........like Tony Bemmett...........But I have enjoyed immensely the different

nuances and inflections in his voice...........It is the itch that is in each of us........to see if we can really and truly do it all........

He knows he is good........and he is..........It's just that curiosity.........We often want the applause of everyone......especially

the younger generation.........You know we are a society that is governed in every single facet of life by what the young kids

want............It was and is so refreshing to see an artist that went above the flavor of the day.................Like our children..........

We have to love their highs and lows..............But with Michael that hasn't been so hard.........Because I love everything he does...........

I just love him........and I know how talented he is.........It is only normal with all that talent to see if his key fits every lock.....

Before Michael came on the scene........I liked Harry Connick Jr.............He was doing super.......and then he decided to go Punk.......

He had a Punk tour..........That was a big mistake for him..........he lost a lot of his following........so with Jack Jones......he decided

to go rock and roll and that was a mistake.....He came back as did Harry singing what made them popular.........But still..........not

like it was..................I feel for Granpa Mitch...........he is probably having a cat fit.........He loved Michael only with the standards

..............Michael is terrific with his new stuff.......but it still is like Michael took a hiatus...........Also I think he is very smart

.................very intelligent..........and I think he knows where the bear sleeps...............He knows because his Granpa keeps reminding

him why he is where he is...........

                All in all........Michaels voice hasn't changed......He just has changed his mood.......He has toured a long time......and he

has had to sing the same songs over and over and over again.............He is giving himself a break...........But like I said so many

times over and over again.......That boy has an old-fashioned soul...........A soul that our nation needs about now..........to bring us

back to the values that some of us once saw in this great country of ours.............

           Sorry Shelly.........I think I wanted to say these things for a long time......Thanks for asking..........There is no one  like

Michael...........This voice is not an ordinary voice when it remembers where it came from..........It was born in heaven.........and

if you pay close attention ..........when he sings songs like.........'Close your eyes'.........you are feeling a power that is beyond

his voice..........whispering to us........no matter what.........everything will be all right...................

           Sorry again............Music is such a blessing.........it touches our heart and soul like nothing else......and then when we

have Michaels voice...........It is just overwhelming...........

           That boy can sing.........Thanks Granpa MItch for helping Michael..........sincerely........there is always someone that

has to care and go out on a limb for you...........In this case it was Granpa Mitch..............Thanks Granpa.........from

another who loves the same music that you do.........But we both love Michael even more................Gram Irene.....................

Concert...Salt Lake City, Nov. 19th........and suddenly she acts like she is going into labor...........Let me ....let you in

Of course ......now I have 74........But he is still no.56..............Our meeting in the Denver airport sealed the deal.....

recognize me........Maybe with Wendy........Maybe with my daughters.............that little picture in the corner with

that jacket with fur on?.........................Look for me...........I will have the poster that you signed and has your

request written on it.................Every christmas I have bought all my family your current album for Christmas

presents for them all...........
