Hi Everyone,

I posted yesterday that I have 2 extra tickets for the Las Vegas MGM Grand concert on August 28th at 8pm. They're in the lower half of Section 9. I thought I'd try this part of the forum, in case more people "hang out" here. I'm new to the forum, so I haven't quite figured it out yet. Sorry if this is not the proper etiquette. Anyway, please PM me if you're interested. If there are no takers here, I'll likely post on craigslist. I want these to go to a fan!

My husband and I are going to the Las Vegas MGM Grand concert on August 28th, and we have two extra tickets in Section 9. We have asked friends and family, and no one is able to make it. In Topic: More Songs for Michael Buble to sing

Let me start by saying that Michael has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard. I'm a fan of many different types of music, but I especially enjoy songs from the 40s and 50s. I also happen to love Elvis and his early music, and Michael reminds me of him in a lot of ways. Anyway, I'm a huge fan of the standards, especially sung by Nat King Cole and Dean Martin (but most of all by Michael, of course!). I was first turned on to this genre by Harry Connick, Jr. and the soundtrack to "When Harry Met Sally", of all places. And, while Mr. Connick's talent is undeniable, he lacks the seemingly effortless, buttery smooth magic of Michael's voice.

Having said all that, I think Michael would do something really fantastic with a little-known song that was actually recorded in the 60s by The Brothers Four and others, called "Seven (Golden) Daffodils". It has profoundly simple lyrics and a beautiful melody, but it's so touching. And yes, my screen name is a reference to the song. I love it and I really hope he sings it someday!
