I was very disappointed in the show too. I cant believe the BBC messed up . They had a prime time spot, they could have done so much more with it.
Apart from being disappointed that Michael didnt sing, I thought the show was a waste of time. Posted Image

Sorry Jenna... Michael didn't even sing... Posted Image

They had a snippet of him talking about one of the singers but no singing.. it was only a few seconds, nothing more.

I was a bit down hearted when i realised Michael wasn't performing. At least we got to see the interview clips though. I thought the show was quite good apart from that, but ruined by Tony Christie singing Amarillo at the end - not very swing!!

PANTS! I love that expression used for all things deemed 'useless' or 'crap' and it seems to sum up this show firefly120!

Well I did love the show Posted Image

Man, I really wish I lived back then, so I could see The Rat Pack live. I just simply adore them. Just as Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, and I can go on for hours.

Jamie Cullum was great and I loved Paul Anka with ''Jump''! Not to mention the musical Rat Pack. And the guy from Simply Red was good too.

Michael's comments were great. Too bad he didn't sing, but I loved the part when he said the music was like making love, and then got horny haha!! Posted Image

Hi everyone

I thought the show was a disappointment too. Pity that Andy Williams' voice is going - it was so beautiful. Some of the clips were good but Amarillo was out of place even though Tony Christie has a good voice. Not much impressed with the Rat Pack either as I has seen the originals live!

Katie Melua probably stood out of the performances and the clips were interesting.

Michael's humour shone through and cracked me up too.

I have already phoned the BBC and told them what I thought. I have suggested to compensate that they give Michael his own show.

But I did say the idea of having some real entertainment on the BBC might be a more permanent feature.

The BBC number for comments is 08700 100 222.

Please phone too.

The good old BBC is slacking a bit huh?

I missed it but my mum said she recorded it, and she saw it, and thought the same. I was also told that he was 'naughty' so I guess she meant the 'horny' bit which actually cracked me up. I wont rush back to Berkshire to watch it then!

I cant believe nearly a year has passed since I last saw him in Sheffield.

I am looking fwd to the glow that he gives me, and hope it lasts a long time afterwards. I miss listening to his voice with my eyes shut Posted Image
