I LOVE David. He was soooo funny at the PBS taping of Josh Groban. David would walk into the audience and talk to us. He's just so cool. He's just, I don't know, easy to like.
I must admit, I didn't know about David until I got into Josh Groban. I then realized what David has done in his career and found out a lot of the music I liked was in some way made by him.

Thanks for posting those links, bro! Those are two wonderful websites!
David's a great guy, and Michael's very lucky to have found him as a producer. I hope David will be able to perform the same magic on him as he has done on Josh and so many other talented singers in the past....

Yes, David Foster TOTALLY ROCKS!!! The guy is a genious, and he's got such a big heart, too!!! He's given so much of himself to others in need through his Foundation, which helps families of children in need of organ transplants.
I am so grateful to David for discovering Josh and sharing his voice with the world, because following Josh's career has truly has changed my life in a big way!!
David has such a knack for discovering new talent - You should have seen all the talented young singers at the World Children's Day Concert last year!!! (Most only made it on to the DVD, but there were still others who didn't that will also make it big some day!!)
I'll say it again - David Foster ROCKS!

Okay, just to set the record straight, David Foster did NOT 'discover' Michael Bublé. To say that David had discovered Michael is rather like saying that Columbus discovered America. Everyone may think that, but it just isn't true. In the case of America, the native Americans had discovered it LONG before Columbus and his fellow slavedriving Europeans had. Michael had already had one wonderful album under his belt when Brian Mulroney invited David to his daughter's wedding and INSISTED that he check out this terrific wedding singer that he had hired. (That album, incidentally, was then followed by another non-Warner release.) The rest is history.
Okay, David DOES, however, deserve the credit for discovering our wonderful Josh Groban, the greatest discovery of recording history! Josh RULES! And, of course, Mr. Foster has EXCELLENT taste, and he definitely knows how to pick them!

Oh, I love the Wedding Singer reference. Ohhhh, would you want to Honeymoon with the groom OR the Wedding Singer????
David does have an amazing way of discovering exceptional talent, kind of a built in radar for greatness.

I've been a longtime David Foster fan, and since I feel like I've seen a lot more of him recently, I pulled out some of my David Foster albums more than 10 years old, recalling how much I enjoyed his older melodies as well. Besides writing some really great music he has accomplished so much as a producer, and I'm sure he'll continue to bring us even more awesome new talent!
