Attention all music and jazz lovers! You do NOT want to miss this!!
Manzano High School is holding a fundraiser concert to benefit their band program. The local Albuquerque Jazz Orchestra will be performing along with two very special guests, Justin Ray and Rob Wilkerson!
Both Justin and Rob grew up in Albuquerque and have been touring with singer Michael Bublé. They have played to sold out venues all over the world for tens of thousands of people. In addition, they have appeared on several well know television shows ("Saturday Night Live", "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno", "The Late Show with David Letterman", "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", just to name a few) and are both featured on Grammy award winning albums ("Michael Bublé Meets Madison Square Garden" and "Crazy Love"). Justin and Rob have also released terrific albums featuring their own original compositions. Justin has put out a self titled album along with his band's album, "Spork! Vol. 1 and 2". He is featured prominently on band Stephaniesid's new album, "Starfruit". Rob has two albums out entitled "Imaginary Landscape" and "Nest" and is also on Darcy James Argue's Secret Society's album, "Infernal Machines". You'll want to check these out if you haven't already! There is a lot of great music here.
And get this! Tickets for this concert are only $10.00 if you buy them in advance from Baum's Music, and only $12.00 at the door! Not only is this world class entertainment, but since music programs in schools tend to be grossly underfunded, you will be supporting a great cause!
If you pass up this opportunity, you will regret it! You may not have a chance like this ever again!
See you there!
