I cannot tell you how long it has been since I have posted, though no doubt a quick check on my profile would do the trick.
I have been SOOOOO freekin busy! Mike has not been forgotten though, the music has been with me though all that I have been doing - I still have the photo of he and I on my desk from that awesome VERY FIRST Minneapolis concert at the Pantages Theater. What a night, and what a sweetheart. I always thought if I had been just a bit thinner and MB just a little gay, I would be typing this from our nightstand! J/K - but he is still a doll.
I still have EderFan.com, as some of you may remember, I was always a Linda Eder fan and that hasn't changed, though I may retire the website soon. Sony has taken over her official web presence, so if they can get LindaEder.com up to my standards, then my work is done. But until I am satisfied that EF.com is no longer needed by the fans ...
What's been really fun in the last couple years is using the old web skills to reach into the past and help give new life to a childhood favorite icon. So many of you I know are going to be too young to remember The Bionic Woman, but for those of you that do, I decided to give it new web life presence! So I bought the domain and built TheBionicWoman.com - Lindsay Wagner, creator Kenneth Johnson, all the fans .. all together and we love it! Funny thing is at the time I started the project, there was no intention of releasing TBW on DVD - lo and behold after two years, voila - the fan demand and the rights settlement led to it's release. I even caved to the demand to follow up hers with his, and now we have TheSixMillionDollarMan.tv as well!
So yah - BUSY boy - but I still get a little Mike a few times a week while I am out with the Ipod walking to work or traipsing through snow covered yards with a note pad that has falls planogram of where the annuals are, and then my added notes for what I want new in spring.
So that's about it! I do miss the chatter with all of you in the very beginning when all of this message board business got started!
It's just time, ya know? So not our friend.
I hope all of you are well, and i LOVE the video for Just Haven't Met You Yet. Why? I took a job in a grocery store deli - its fun! I get to have food and people around me (love both) and I can walk to work - that's all I need! So in fact we all love the video at work.
I really will try to check in more often, you are such a fun and exciting group of people!
Steve
