Hello all

I'm ready,willing and able...As some of you may know,Ive been working on this show for a long time now...I'm a perfectionist when it comes to live performance.I have been hard at work learning the tunes,the moves,the character of Michael and I'm now ready to go !


There's lots of Michael Tributes around the UK at the moment,but only one UKBUBLE.

Hello All.

Just A quick Update...

I have been doing a few gigs on my own so far and they are going great... I've started rehearsals with the Brass section- The"BOOBLETTES".Im so excited,they sound amazing and look incredible... They are 3 very vivacious young ladies on sax trumpet and trombone and a Flute ! I'm expecting great things from them and really looking forward to working with them.Its going to make the show much more visual and exciting.

Hello Everyone.

My name,s Vinni and I'm One of the UK Michael Buble Tribute Shows that is dedicated to Michael's Music.
I thought it might be a good idea to list all the tributes on one page/post.Just to see how many we know of so far.I have been doing my show for a couple of years now and I know Steve has also been doing it quite a long time now,But it seems like there are lots of tributes popping up out of every Entertainment Agencies Offices at the moment..It makes me laugh because every single Agent in the country didn't want to know about Michael for the last 2 years.
One of the "big time agents" even said to me when I rang to enquire about adding my show to their books - "Michael Who ? He,s not famous enough yet ,he needs a massive scandal or to die before we can do anything with that show " I was in shock to be honest...Funny Thing is,That office is now all over the net advertising a Michael Buble Tribute Show now,it makes my blood boil !
I would not mind so much if half of them were any good at what they do...but Unfortunately the person booking this act for their wedding/party/event will only find that out when they turn up and fail to do the job.It seems most of the acts are never as good as the hype surrounding them from unscrupulous Agencies.There's no money back guarantee when booking these shows.

So if you have seen or know of any Michael Buble Tribute Shows.. Please list them on here.

Did anyone listen to Scott Mills Radio 1 at 6.18pm on Thursday 17th December?

The posh radio 4 read out my email, fully....

Even Chappers read out my website again too.....

The really funny thing I had meant the original email for Greg James and sent it to Scott by mistake. I only tapped his name iin to get the correct spelling of Greg's email....

as Scott said,

yes it was, but I really didn't think it would be read out in full...

Tell me about it!! Agents are only interested in what they can get for nothing, any hard work involved and they dont want to know. i have been doing a buble tribute now for about 3 years and as you said agents are not interested. only in Kylie, Robbie and the like. this year i am hoping as i'm sure you are for greater exposure as michael himself seems to be going more mainstream. This will hopefully smear egg on a lot of agents faces who could have missed the boat with some of the best vocalists around. wayne http://www.michaelduble.com

firstly let me say good luck with your act, as a buble fan myself i am pleased that there is a lot of buble tributes springing up. however, due to the popularity of michael and his particular brand of music, there are always going to be people willing to jump on the bandwagon and try to cash in on someone elses success. i agree with you that it would be nice to get all us tribute acts in one place to see how many of us there are. i'm certain that its not as many as elvis impersonators! i had the same problem as you 3 years ago when i started with my tribute but persevered and things have gone really well for me, i have travelled overseas and even sang live on the radio in spain. so keep knocking on doors mate and some will open, others won't but thats just the way the world is.

hello there Wayne.. thanks for the kind words..and your correct,what you said about agents etc etc.
I did Robbie Williams on ITV TV "Stars In their Eyes" and I would have a lot less trouble selling myself doing a Robbie Show...but Ive been there and done that one,
I intend to continue with this show with or without agents or managers.I love singing these songs and whenever i do a gig i get such a good response,its the only way forward for me at the moment.

Hello All.

Thanks for the Emails and kind words everyone...I'm still banging on doors and sending out mail.Things are starting to pick up.
Big Problem I'm having is that Internet Marketing is not my strong point.Big Agencies have offices full of people working on campaigns.
I'm one little chap trying to be heard and seen in a huge market of shouting/screaming/flashing sparkly websites saying buy me book me now !
Everyday I'm learning a little more about how it works.Ive been in this industry for 25 years as a working Musician,But always relied upon agencies to get my gigs.But Now I'm competing against these companies for work...to be honest..it's all very scary !

Hi, was interested reading your posts because my friend has booked for us to go and see a Michael tribute act in May. I ADORE Michael and am going to see him twice in the same week as the tribute act, so boy has he got a lot to live up to!!!

I have tried to find out about him, but there is nothing as far as I can see on the internet about him, makes you wonder???

Yes I know what you mean Gill, sometimes I just booked as 'Tribute to ....' and then nothing about my real name but then can't check on the internet, but don't dispear he may be very good.
But at least with search engines you get an idea of hearing them and maybe links to their own sites to see what they have got booked in or where they have played.
But like I say I hope you are pleasantly surprised...
I'm going to Birmingham to see Michael in May and can't wait to see him again...

Hi ya,
You may still be lucky, some don't tend to do the internet route, he maybe local to the area or be so popular he doesn't need to advertise things on the net.

'Expectation' is a different thing to manage even with big artists I know I was critical of Robbie Willams before, maybe as he didn't live upto my level of expectation, mind you we had already seen him at Knebworth and he was amazing, it depends on what you are expecting.

Is it a looky likey, sound alikey? - This happens a lot, and most find it difficult to emulate him.

Or someone who can sing and will sing Bublé's beautful songs, and enjoy him that way. - Which is the way I like to go down, not to mimic, just to sing the songs in a similar way and enjoy the music.

Either way I hope yo have a great night, and sing along to all your favourite songs.

You 'll have to let me know how it goes....

First of all having looked at your sites Vinni & Steve you are very good at what you do i wish you all the success.

As you said Vinni to list here if anyone has seen someone who they are impressed with I saw a guy Called Gavin Newman the voice of swing in a cafe bar in Birmingham i thought he was pretty good ,He finished with cry me a river and i thought it was amazing i asked his wife why he was filming the set and i was told its for the website they are building but they were going to be uploaded to facebook and you tube I asked to be added to there mailing list and i have had the link sent today take a look guys see what you think....
