Ok, so curiosity got the better of me.... I just rang Channel Nine... aparrently the entries were judged over the weekend and the winner was notified on Monday... it will be announced on the show this week... and it wasn't me :(! Anyone else get a call from Channel Nine on Monday?

Nope, not I! :(

I guess even if the winner is on the boards they are probably sworn to secrecy until it is announced on TV. Let's see if anyone stays noticably absent from answering this thread.

Well I did ring Channel 9 sydney and spoke to the competitions girl ( a bit grumpy) she gave me no information, didnt give a date when the winner will be announced, nothing!!!! she said it was still being decided and that was this afternoon (Wed)

I tried to ring Channel 9 Sydney but the nuber they gave on the website wouldn't work!! So I actually rang the Melbourne office and they told me what I said before. But... I just got an email direct from the competitions department saying what they said to princessrenee, they were still judging. I kinda hope they still are, means us board members are still in the running! Hehe! :)

Well, it's not me ...not unless they have been calling at school and I haven't been given the message!!!!!

I can't wait to see who wins - imagine if the promoters could see this thread!!!

Please post as soon as it's announced anyone who watches TODAY....

I was wondering the same thing. I thought they mght have announced it after the races finished... so any time after tomorrow? Has anyone been watching the Today show every morning, and if so have they said anything about it?

Just rang Channel Nine again... the winner was announced on Monday. Not I, I'm afraid! It was someone from Kenthurst, which I think is in NSW. Anyone on the boards from there?

I agree!! I would actually like to see the winning entry! That competition was when I was my most competitive.... ever.... seriously, I sent in 11 entries!!!

Yeah, I would have felt like a total fraud if I won... I only ever watch if Richard is interviewing Michael.... I prefer Sunrise too...

It really annoys me when they say it's open natinally when they have no intention of anyone outside NSW winning it.


Congrats to whoever the winner is - enjoy every second of it you lucky thing :)
