Just turned on KOCE and saw a phenominal young violinist David Garrett. He has taken the violin to a new, fresh level and he's drop dead gorgeous...He plays Vivaldi, Chopin, Michael Jackson, AC/DC with just a flick of his bow. He looks like he should be playing a Stratocaster guitar instead of a Stratavarius violin. He's amazing. Check out youtube and clilck on several of his vidoes to get a better idea of his style.

I think he'd be great on any of Michael Bublé's albums...As Chris Botti enhanced MB's albums, David Garrett whould definitely enhance MB...Hope you like...The first video is mostly to hear him in interview and play the violin. Kinda introductory...Like I said, he's gorgeous...!!!

I'm not sure I would put him together with Michael.........but his music is fabulous! Michael co-hosted a TV show last year in the UK (For One Night Only) and David was one of the guests (so they have met). I was lucky enough to be in the audience and was impressed so much by David that I went to one of the two solo gigs he did in the UK. He is phenomenal and I would recommend anyone to see his live show.......

He is phenomenal, isn't he?

I would love to see David Garrett collobrate with Michael on something - a ballad rather than something more up-tempo. Michael certainly seemed to be impressed with David at "For One Night Only", especially when David demonstrated his record-breaking interpretation of 'Flight of The Bumblebee' to Michael and his co-presenter, Denise van Outen.

I remember watching a clip on YouTube where, towards the end of the interview, David says he listens to Michael's music ... will have to see if I can find it again.

I'm so pleased David is getting the attention in The States he so deserves. Not only is he very easy on the eye but he has the educational training to back himself up, having studied at Juilliard.

At the concert I went to see him at in the UK, David explained that he had penned a piece for a good friend of his, called 'Eliza's Song'. I can't seem to find a better clip of this but check this out to see what a talented writer and performer he is - it's an incredibly haunting piece and my one my favourites: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=H21VBt-0cTM
