I live in Denmark and I love to listning to Michael Bublé. I got my DVD today. As usual Michael makes a wonderful performance and his voice is better than ever - but I was so disappointed to see him smoke.
He should mind his health og wonderful voice!

LOL...I think that this conversation has been had before on the forum when a pic of him smoking was posted. I had the same thoughts when I found out. Hope he quits too!

I knew he smoked. I think most of us knew before seeing the DVD.

I remember after one of the concerts when we waited outside the venue after the show, Michael came out and gave me a hug (and a kiss on the cheek!). He smelt so good of course, so I commented about it!

Michael had moved on to the next fan to sign autographs so I said to Steve (who was standing next to Michael) .. "Mmm he smells so good tonight - the other night he smelt like cigarettes"...

Steve put his finger over his mouth and said "Shhh not so loud" .. then I noticed that Michael heard me and shook his head as if to say 'thanks a lot, big mouth!'

I guess he didn't want his other fans to know that he smoked. Woops; my bad! hahaha

yea, i got my copy and was quite dissapointed to see that our Mr.Buble has a cigg in his hands! i mean people smoke and as long as they dont do it in front of others that mind, then its fine i guess,,,personal choice... BUT i hope that michael doesnt see the effects of it in his beautiful voice. it would be a sad day to see a bad habbit such as that rob him of his god given tallent! lets just hope he does it once in a while to calm his nerves and not all the time (but i assume if he showed it in the video, its a every-day thing cuz im sure he could have guessed people would be red-flagging it)

michael, michael.... in my 22 short years, i couldnt get my mother to stop smoking and now i see her cough and grasp for air ..... if not for your fans, stop for yourself! lol (wow i sound like a preacher! but in 2009 we know that no good comes to our health from smoking... so think twice ~ everybody)

I've been a smoker for about 17 years and haven't really experienced any change in my vocal abilities.
However......my lung capacity has DEFINATELY been affected.

Here's to hoping we both quit soon.

I may not agree with his decision to smoke - not matter how light or how heavy - but I honestly don't hold this against him. I just hope one day he stops

I AM SAD THAT MICHAEL SMOKES BUT HOPEFULLY HE WILL SEE THE LIGHT ONE DAY AND QUIT.

Now I am worried about you also....have you tried quitting. I know that there are those things
like can keep your hands busy during the quitting stage...I think they are called nicorettes or something.
You can get them at your local pharmacy....I see their ads quite often.

I don't criticize Michael for smoking - I am worried about him. Maybee he is working much too hard. After the show he looked very tired and he had to have a large drink and a cigaret. It is not good!
I want him to sing many more years and I am afraid he could be ill or loose that wonderful voice of his.

We all know the effects of smoking, as I'm sure Michael does. I'm also sure he gets tons of grief for it. Please don't hate on me, but for as wonderful as he is to his fans the least we could do is leave him alone in regards to this one vice of his. We may not like it (I hate it) but he'll quit if and when he's ready. Okay, stepping off my soap box, trying not to trip!

I think we all agree regardless of how we approach it.

We all think that smoking isn't good for you and just like anyone else that we care about we would hope that he quits. But if he wants to there is nothing that can be done and we really don't have the right to make a moral judgement about it. It is his life after all.

I think we can probably leave it at that can't we? There isn't really any point for us all to get excited one way or the other is there?

I just bought your new CD + DVD this week of you, Live at MSG.

I LOVE the new CD, LOVE the DVD, however, I saw that you were smoking in a few of the scenes and my heart broke.

You don't need a mother here, and I know you're an adult...BUT PLEASE, for the love of all humanity, please stop smoking! That amazing voice of yours will suffer for it and I can't imagine this world without your beautiful gift.

Now, if I've completely missed the boat here and you've already stopped smoking, then Thank God. If you are still smoking, I beg you, please, do whatever is humanly possible to quit.
