Justin Ray will be playing at Seasons in Old Town this Saturday starting at 7:30pm. For those of you who have never had the chance to hear him play aside from with Michael, he is fantastic! I encourage you to come out and see him if you can! As far as I know there's no cover charge, and it will be some GREAT music! Seasons's website is billing it as the "Justin Ray Quartet", so I am assuming he's playing with his own band this time (the last couple of times he was here, he played with a local group).

Hey guys!

I saw Justin play last night and he and the band sounded great! They played from 7:30pm until about 11:00 I think. I originally thought they were only playing until 10:00, but I certainly didn't mind staying the extra hour and my husband said it was fine by him. Justin alternated between playing the trumpet and the flugelhorn.

It seemed like Justin had a lot of friends and family there to support him last night, which is great! I certainly didn't want to keep him from visiting with them, especially since I don't really know him, but he was nice enough to sit and chat with us for a little bit anyway. He seems very friendly and personable.

If you ever have the chance to see Justin play, take it!!
