Okay my son is in kindergarten and last week they had a school assembly featuring "NED" the YO YO guy. We spent 50 bucks on yo yo's and a dvd teaching tricks. The DVD looked like it was made in the 80's. The guy has Sally Jesse Ralphael glasses, the music is totally 80's techo and the graphics are laughable!! But my son loves it and we've had to watch it a million times. He hasn't learned any of the tricks but we love it all the same. By the way NED stands for
N- never give up
E- encourage others
D- do your best
I enjoyed all the 80's references and had a good laugh. Thanks!!

Now I have somemore of my own (and guilty of every single one):

66. Blue eye shadow, pink lipstick and teased hair. (Wait... that's not in style anymore?)
67. Wearing like 100 plastic bracelettes all at once (with #34 of course).
68. Atari was the coolest! I rocked at Donkey Kong and Pac Man.
69. E.T.
70. Your parents fought 10 people for a Cabbage Patch Kid (my dad had the scar to prove it).
71. Jane Fonda workout in gym class.
72. The Friendly Giant
73. Mr. Dress-Up
74. Monchichi

Found this online and thought it was pretty fun. I'm a bit to young for some of it...but a lot of it is true for me. I was born in '85.
You know you grew up in the 80's or early 90's if:
1. You've ever ended a sentence with the word "PSYCHE".
17. You played the game "MASH" (Mansion, Apartment, Shelter, House)
27. You took Lunch Boxes to school.
37. You remember going to the skating rink before there were in-line skates.
40. You had or attended a birthday party at McDonalds.
41. You've gone through this nodding your head in agreement.
43. "Don't worry, be happy"
47. You remember boom boxes vs. cd players.
Only a few apply to me...ha..what a sad and controlled childhood I got here...
