Anyways...after the song he talks about that Chistmas Special and how he came to be holding that dog (Rodney). It's pretty funny.

The Chris Isaak Hour - It's Biography meets Storytellers. This live performance and interview show will explore the lives of mainstream musical artists by allowing them to tell their life stories through the music they've created, the songs and artists that inspired them and the relationships they forged along their path to success. Hosted by music star, Chris Issak, each episode will bring guest's stories to life as viewers discover the experiences and influences which helped mold them into the person and performer they are today. Chris delivers major music credibility to the show. His intelligent, thoughtful and sometimes irreverent conversation style interviews will put his guests at ease. Inter-cut throughout the interview segments will be exclusive live performances of featured guests shot at an intimate venue.
I just stumbled across this news when I was surfing around the web. I was trying to find clips of Michael's appearance on the Chris Isaak Chirstmas special and I stumbled on news about this. Apparently Michael taped a show around middle-late October 2008. I checked the Chris Isaak boards and apparently the show is probably going the be starting in February 2009.
I'm very excited!! More Michael goodness. Although I wish that they would hurry up and begin airing the shows!!! It sounds like it'll be a really awesome show. There
Glenn Campbell, Chicago, Trisha Yearwood, and the Smashing Pumpkins are apparently some of the other guests.
Anyways...that's all I know. Everyone keep an ear out for an annoucement of the air date. I know I will.

New York, NY JANUARY 27, 2009 Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Chris Isaak will host BIO's new original series, "The Chris Isaak Hour" debuting on Thursday, February 26 at 10pm ET/ 11pm PT. Each weekly one hour episode will feature one of music's most popular artists in an intimate studio setting.
"On my show artists get to talk and really get to know my guests and the sound is always great. On most TV shows, artists are asked one question at the end of the show and the sound is a bit shaky," said Chris Isaak. "I also get to share in the thrill of meeting and performing with great artists like Glen Campbell one week and Michael Buble the next. I'm having a blast."
It's nice that he mentioned Michael specifically...He seems to genuinely digg what Michael does.
A little more about the show:
"Chris Isaak is one of the most engaging and talented performers in show business," said Tom Moody, Senior Vice President Program Planning & Acquisitions, A&E Network & BIO. "He is intelligent and funny and has an amazing rapport with his guests in both conversations and musical performances."
Through a blend of storytelling and performance, each guest will be interviewed by Isaak and relive the highs and lows of their careers. Whether it's a spontaneous acoustical performance with Chris during an interview or their full band live on stage, each artist will perform their own material and the songs of those who inspired them. The show's fresh tone and retro style are driven by the singular talent of host Chris Isaak. Intelligent, thoughtful and sometimes irreverent, Isaak's special gift is creating an atmosphere that puts his guests completely at ease.
The series premiere will feature Trisha Yearwood, and will include the first ever performance of Breaking Apart, a duet from Isaak's new album. Additional guests include Stevie Nicks, Smashing Pumpkins, Chicago, Glen Campbell, Michael Buble and Yusuf Islam (formerly Cat Stevens).
It sound like it's be a pretty good show. I've always found musician's more interesting than actors and actresses in interviews. I think that generally the stories that musicians tell about their adventures on the road, their climb to fame, and their influences are more interesting to me. And it'll be interesting with Chris doing the interviewing. Since he is in the music business himself he'll be able to relate with the guests and probably have some unique, insightful questions that people like Letterman, Leno, etc. wouldn't know to ask about. And especially since he has a history with Michael I think that the the interview will be pretty good
I found an interview of Chris by Paul Cashmere (some Aussie musical interviewer) promoting a variety of things
Almost halfway through part 2 of the interview his Christmas DVD (that our very own MB features on) is mentioned. He say's what he thinks of Michael and a little bit about what he remembers about Michael from early on in his career. It's always nice to here some speak well of Mike.

I hope we get a sneak peak of what is on Michael's new album. Really, he could just stand there and smile the whole hour and I'd be happy as a clam!!!!!!! It doesn't take much to please me!! Thank you for posting the picture. Michael is too cute for words. OK... I have words MANY words: CUTE, SWEET, ADORABLE, SEXY, HANDSOME, CHARMING, YUMMY to name a few. Mmmmmm Michael... (my imagination ran away from me again) LOL!
I am so happy that Michael is giving us "teaser" appearances because I don't about all of you but waiting until 2010 for a concert is almost unbearable. Of course Michael deserves a rest after the amazing job he has done but 2010 is a loooonnnnngggg time away!!!!!
I really like this message board. Everyone is so friendly.
