Well get this.. apparently they have credited the wrong person for MY PHOTOS!! Someone named "Nancy Meyers" has been credited for my photo - My name is Nancy Parvana!!

This would explain why no one contacted me to sign a release.. because they stuffed up and credited some other fan .. I understand that mistakes happen but I am NOT HAPPY!! I'm furious to say the least because who ever "Nancy Meyers" is, she obviously signed the release form and claimed my photo to be one of hers! Does anyone know who she is?? If so, please PM me.

I did my part and emailed my photos in and put my full name on the email. I also stated the date of the concert and where it was taken. I guess there is nothing I can do about it now ... At least I know they are my photos I suppose..

I'm sure if this happened to any other fan they would understand how disappointed I feel right now

Maybe when they sent a release form to the other Nancy they didn't specify the photo so she thought it was one she sent in.
Maybe she's dissappointed too.

Keep trying to contact people. If they print any more calendars they should correct it.

They may not be printing any more but either way they should apologise to you and put a notice of correction on Bungalow B saying it was your photo.

Thanks Laguna... I doubt Nancy Meyers is disappointed, why would she be? Everyone would think she took it..

That is absolutely terrible, I would be peed off,,,big time!!
I agree with Nance, I doubt Nancy Meyers would be annoyed, but I am amazed to think
someone would take credit knowing they didn't really take the photo, thats just low.

Wait and see what Bobby D says or Vegi, she's good at that kind of stuff too.

I'm not really looking forward to receiving my calendar anymore. I think I'll be mad each time I look at the calendar and see someone else's name below my photos!

however just remeber each day you get to look at michael's smiling face so evenif you hang it in a cabinet you still get him to look at!!!

just thought could have been worse---imagine you thought your pic was gonna be there and yousigned the release and they printed your name, then appalled you realize it was someone elses pic, eventually a correction has to made or reparation, so you most likely are on the winning side (but youmight have to wait a bit before you get the glory!!!)

Bottsbuble - it's 10.30am Wednesday morning where I am right now (West Australia).

Yeah I can imagine this Nancy Meyer would have a bit of a shock to when she realizes it's not her photo that's been used. I don't think they will be correcting this since the calendars have already been printed. There is nothing they can do about it except apologize.

Some of you are probably wondering why I am making such a big deal about this, so I will tell you why. Because they used my photo for the month of August - as the main photo! There are smaller fan photos around the border like a collage.

Dear Nancy

The picture you entered is just beautiful. It is one you should be proud of. It really reminds me of a happy Michael and you were so joyful when you took it.

ALL of us on the board know how you feel and it sure is a bummer.

Truly it is one of the BEST. The one that gets me is the one where Michael is standing in front of a white corragated wall. It looks like there are four burley cops standing outside of picture range ready to put the hand cuffs on any second. The poor guy looks like he is being booked for being bad.

I can't imagine who thought that this was a good shot. Oh well----takes all kinds.

Even if they hadn't used one of your photos for the main photo and had only used them as collage photos, you still have every right to be upset. When you do something you are proud of (take a fabulous picture of Michael, for instance), and then you're not properly credited for doing it, it's upsetting.

i know this has turned more official bussines than humorous but was just thinking of some silly solutions....
hope they make you laugh....

purchase 1 brother style label maker
print out numerous copies of your name
send post "to all calendar owners......please respond"
mail out labels with directions to place over erroneous name

or tell all people they must return calendar with a polite note stating they want it fixed for nancy...........think of the corporate uproar......please fix my calendar for nancy, etc,etc,etc

also paste pic of you and michael over any in the calendar you dont like

-consider the only way you may feel better is by having michael wine and dine you one nite!!!!!!!!!!! then buy (or request in place of other tokens of apology) life size cut out and have dinner with him

-a personal (maybe slightly raunchy) phone call........."hi nancy,its michael, but you can call me mike. Tell me what are you wearing............)
