Hi Dea,

The weather ain't so good here as well. There was this huge snow strom during
the holiday seasons...very unusual for Vancouver. Now, as it gets warmer, we
are getting some rain-snow mix...even worst....sad.

I am glad that you asked. Here are the dates:

Olympic: Feb 12, 2009 to Feb 28, 2010
Paralympic: March 12, 2009 to March 21, 2010

I hope that Michael will be there to sing in front of the world...his stunning voice is
simply irresistable...

I'll be putting on more photos...so keep checking.

P.S. The ones I showed you today is actually close to the poor side of town in Vancouver....
watch out for the homeless people and stay calm...they ain't going to hurt you.
(There are homes and foodbanks for them to settle around that region)
I hope they are making the very best during this cold winter season....

hello to all,.the Olympic are a event that it upsets a country when they have been in Italy they have carried much confusion but they are beautifull...

if I come to October and I must study for a year there a Vancouver I will be able to see them....

Have fun on your trip to those big cities. I've heard that the buffett in Las Vegas is really good..esp. the
ones in the casino. Also, enjoy shopping at outlet malls in the States...that's what I usually go to
the States for. They always have great prices for brand-name fashion. Have fun!

Oh my gosh Allen, you have brought back such great memories for me with those
wonderful pics. I was right there. I took a pic right below the Steam Clock and it's
so pretty around Gastown. Had a great lunch in a pasta restaurant there and can't
remember the name right now, but we have one here too. Wow, name totally
escapes me. We walked part way over to Chinatown but didn't get to see too
much I will just have to go back eh?
We did see the homeless section and your right, we just walked passed them
they do not bother you. It's sad there is so many, but all cities have that.

I never got to Metrotown, but did get downtown on the Robson
we stayed at the Rosedale there on Hamilton and Robson. Great place and
Rosie's Restaurant had some really good food. I'd stay there again.
Saw Yaletown, but I think you and I talked about this before.
Ah yes, Vancouver is beautiful, I'm goin' back, just not sure when.
