Wouldn't hurt to see him wear something different ;)

From the Milan Fashion Show...maybe a brighter top?

Oh! I can picture Michael in something like this, designed by the Huge-o I think
MB likes his suits fitted snugly, he does look good in them.

Good suggestion Allen, but I'm still a firm believer of the black suit :D It's simple and classic, he doesn't need and overly fancy or colourful jacket and pant

Just recently viewed Michael;s appearance on the late, late show (Craig Ferguson)
but he was wearing an extremely sharp looking charcoal gray suit (seemed almost
shark-skin like) with a black shirt and a charcoal gray tie to match. .. and it
looked ABSOLUTELY AWESOME, of course. Check it out below:

I agree that he should stay with the suit. Having been on the stage myself,
the tradition of showing respect for that stage and all that have played it
really comes to light and I think he has been great at upholding that. Also
it really suits his songs - so far, at least!
