Wow, last night's show was just amazing! I was there, with my crutches, hobbling around the auditorium. Thank goodness we had floor seats so I could "sneak" up to the stage and get photos every now and again. I got an awesome photo of Michael looking straight at me from the stage and some pics of the whole show including Naturally 7. I bought their CD and had it autographed after the show (they were located in the absolute farthest place from where I was and it seemed to take hours to get to where they were). I also got some great photos of the guys.

Since I had seen this show in Verona in July, I was aware of most of the things that he was going to do but the new stuff was great. During his singing of "Home", the panels behind him folded out flat where a video of Hamilton was shown, highlighting some of the special places there. Of course he sang "Lost" and put his whole heart and soul into it (like we were expecting him NOT to??!!) and at the end of the show, although I was expecting him to sing "Song for You" acappella and not miked, what I wasn't expecting was the tear that dropped from my eye and dripped down my cheek. He really reached in and touched me again so many times last night.

So tonight, once again, I'm spending another night at my dad's house because the roads are closed due to snow squalls (blizzard conditions) and where I live in Owen Sound, the whole city is shut down including all of the roads leading into it. I wonder if Michael made it safely to Montreal for his concert tonight (I think he would have beat the snow and the flash freeze if they got away right after the show) but this lousy weather should be upon them later on tonight as they depart for Halifax.

God speed Michael. You only have 3 more concerts to go before your break and then the Grammy's.

And yes, as we had surmised by Michael's wonderful fame and success, the days of meeting the fans at the buses afterwards are gone. I did try hobbling into the underground garage at the venue last night but security was tight and I didn't get very far.

I'd still like to know how Emily liked the Mr. Wonderful doll I gave her in July........anyone know???

Great concert and I'm planning my strategy for the next concert...........

I was thinking of you last night and wishing I could be there. Every time we see him he gets better.
So you had to wait to travel back home I know that feeling. I hope will be getting ride of your crutches soon. Take care

Sounds just wonderful. Love reading how excited everyone gets before and after their concert experiences. Just terrific.
So glad you were able to "hobble" around. Sounds like you did pretty good.

Hi Doris....I was thinking about you last night and wondering how you were getting along with those crutches. Sorry, you had to spend the night away from home but 'Safety First'. Can't wait to hear all the details when you get back and I need to see those pictures!!!!
Sure hoping that Naturally 7 will still be touring with Michael when he gets to Cincinnati!!! Sure do want to see them perform and maybe get their autograph!!

Take care and email when you get back safe and sound.

Hugs to you, dear friend.

Oh I am so happy for your amazing time...ST

Yours was a great review that made me feel
like I was a part. I love it when we get great
reviews to read... it really transports you if you
have been lucky enough to have seen Mr. Buble
and the guys before.

I agree that the time at the buses is gone...
for now. When you are playing venues in the
10's of 1000's I can imagine that just the
thought would be very daunting. Maybe they
will add some people to the Meet and Greets?

I always had the impression they were kind of a
one-on-one thing but I think that's just Michael's
generous nature that makes everyone feel that way.

Now I am so unbelieveably glad (and very grateful)
that I went to L.A. this summer to see Michael as
I had a few "meets" with him and his parents... we
may never see that kind of thing again. I do believe
though that one day the ruckus will calm and the dust
will clear and maybe we can get to see our Michael
then... you can always hope!

I am sorry you were having to hobble. I have
come close but nothing could keep me from a
Buble concert now... short of being snowed in!
And then I would still try.

Hi Doris,
I't was lovely to read your reveiw and I'm glad you really enjoyed the concert.
You were asking about Emily enjoying the Mr Wonderful you gave her in July.
Did you see the CBS Sunday morning programme that was on at xmas time?
At the end of the recording where they are speaking to Michaels mum,
they show you Michael and his family, eating in a restaurant and his nephew is
talking to Michael and he looks as though he is holding your Mr Wonderful.
You can veiw it at the Daily Buble - Dec 28th memorable moments of 2007.
CBS- Sunday Morning.
Sorry I don't know how to add link to page.

Hi Doris!

Thank you so much for your recap of the show in Hamilton~I'm very happy you had another amazing night watching Michael and the guys do their thing!! You are a real trooper~to hobble around on crutches! What a testiment to the loyalty of MB's fans~nothing will stop us from seeing his show!! ;)

Hope the road conditions have improved and you will arrive safely home. And, as you mentioned~hopefully the buses with MB and all of his team/crew arrived safely in Montreal. (Who booked Michael for a Jan/Feb. Canadian tour, anyway!!??) :o LOL

Looking forward to seeing your photos and thanks again for the great report of your marvelous night!

Take care,

Hi Doris!

Glad you had a great time. At least you gave it a try to see Michael~
I do hope the weather cleared for a safe trip home. Sorry too that you
had crutches but nothing will stop us from seeing our guy right?

Betty I agree, Jan/Feb in Canada!~ couldn't they have scheduled
some other time eh? Yes, It was freezing some days I was there to see
Michael to in Vancouver, but like I said nothing can keep us away from Mr. Bublé!

I need to check out that video Doris, your Mr. Wonderful doll must be there!

Thanks so much for the link, Leese. I went to my son's and used his high speed connection and laptop (yes, we're still on dialup - yuk) and saw the video. Yes, it IS the Mr. Wonderful doll!!!! His nephew was listening to it and Michael was telling him about it.

So, he kept if for himself, huh? Oh well, I'm glad that he still has it which means that Michael liked it for sure!

Thanks to everyone for their comments. It truly was an amazing show and now I'm thinking about going to Buffalo in April!!!!!!!!!

OK, how unbelievably cool is that?

Was Michael worried about the doll being
like the teddy bear incident at all, I wonder? lol

CONGRATS Really neat!
