ok no offence to anyone but im not changing mine at the moment. i like it the way it is!!

I know what your saying though!

and yes sig's are a way to express yourelf but I agree that you dont need to say alot to express yourself.. if everyone can think of a few lines that say who we are, then it would help... but then having a big sig doesnt hurt does it?

they're colourful and cute and it really doesnt matter and like someone else said, if you dont like the sigs, just change your settings so that you dont see them.. or send Bobby D message asking him to keep his eyes open for un-necessarily long sig's and then he can PM the member and ask them to shorten it!!

and yes my sig is WAY too long and there's too many pics and alot of un-necessary writing that says pointless stuff, but I like it and for now its gonna stay the way it is!! kay?? =)

Ive said what I need to

Love youu all

I agree with the topic starter that some indeed are too long.
But, on the other hand, I agree with Abbey that it is a way
of expressing yourself too! I learned a lot about Abbey just
by reading her signature...I found out that she loved Westlife
as much as I do and we became friends on here.

There are always pros and cons on these kind of issues
and it is hard for me to choose too so I did not vote here.

You can always disable the signature in the control panel.
Choose not to view it if you like...it is, at the end, your own choice.

I think that in the interest of people having problems loading pages everyone should try to be considerate by not putting too many pictures on.

However...I would only hope that people would be considerate in this way. I don't think it's a hill to die on though. So I don't think it should be an actual rule. If someone feels that they need 3 large pictures to express themselves then I would never tell them that that is wrong. It would undoubtable make some very mad if they were forced...which violates the feeling of community that we are trying to develop and maintain.

As for extra scrolling...I don't care about that personally. And as such lots of word don't bother me. Some of them are kind of cute and bright and cheery...They relieve the quite gloomy look of the actual site so I don't mind 'em at all. And they don't take longer to load than a long message

So those are my thoughts. I'm gonna vote no but advise that everyone give the issue some personal thought.

I think the members should be allowed to put however many things they like on their signatures.
Personally, I think they're the best bit of reading peoples comments. If the comment gets boring I like to look at what people have wrote on them!

Also it gives everyone an idea of the certain members favourite song, quotes or pictures of Michael.

I like them.
Hopefully not everyone will shorten their own signature :/
