Dearest Jo - and everyone else that has been checking in on me -
I have not departed, I just have been spending most of my day
and night looking for employment... I am STILL unemployed
since April!!! The job market here in San Diego is the worst it's
been yet and, as things are going all over the U.S., I am sure
that they will not improve. It is VERY frightening. Very.

On top of all of this, I am battling a severe back injury. UGH!

At least I have Michael to look at and, God willing, look forward
to (if I get a job so that I may pay to see him again). Luckily
this past May when he was here in San Diego I had already
purchased my tickets for SD and Anaheim, thank goodness
for small blessings.

Thank you so much for noticing that I have not been posting...
I really did not think that anybody takes a notice to the things
I post so that is very kind of you!

Dear Leese,

Thank you so VERY much for responding!!!! You should know that
many, many people have missed you, I'm sure! You have done so
much to help all of us from time to time, and it's always good to
read what you write!

I hope you don't mind that I say here that your post touched me
very much, and I have great concern for your situation. I wish
that I could do something to help, but at least you will be in my
prayers each day (that your back will soon be well and that you
will not only find a job--but one that you really like!) The US job
situation that you describe is indeed scary! We have the same
here in Oregon. I won't go into detail, but it has affected our
family as well. However, I know that there are so many who
have it even worse. To be honest, it makes me cry sometimes.

Again I say that it's good to hear from you. You're in our thoughts
and prayers.

PS-- I know what you mean about at least being able to see Michael.
Looking at his videos and photos can always bring an instant
smile (and his wonderful songs too).
