Johanne,
Missed your splashes! It's so nice to have a good laugh before I'm off to bed--thanks for giving it to me! Welcome HOME!

Shelley.......
Thank you Hon.....You are one sweet dear person.....I think we will all enjoy what
we each bring....That is the irony of life....We
all at some time in our life have the fantasy of
life being good to us or somone else making it
wonderful for us.....When in truth the wonder of
it all is somewhere within us....
Everyone of us were born with the spirit
of heaven within us.....But it needs tending and
nurturing....Love is the glow that lights up every little empty heart in the world...
A little heart that feels love belongs to
one who has chosen to let that light take its
rightful place.......
Granma and lovin it!

Hello my loves (and my husband thinks that Michael, himself, is his only competition these days!
)
Wow, I can't be away for one day (half a day, really)without all of you sharing beautiful, profound splashes! I could't possibly say everything I love about them!
I've got to get to bed sometime soon; my sweetheart is graduating from Law School tomorrow and my in-laws are here and there are festivities afoot! But I just wanted to say thanks to you all before I'm off to bed.
I do have to say that I LOVED your poem Johanne. I especially love the stanza that said:
It's something I can always use a litle reminder about-- Not just to have hope for the future, but to have peace with right now is a HUGE deal. Gram Irene seems to have such a grat grasp of that concept. I always get what I need from your wisdom, Gram.
And Lorie, thanks for reminding us that we all have a piece of divinity in us if we'll let it shine through. I see the divinity in you all when I come "home" to read what you have to say here.
Here I am making the comments I already said I don't really have time to make. Better get some rest before the busy day tomorrow. Oh, and speaking of tomorrow, Christina, biggest hugs and well wishes your way. We'll all be thinking of you while you're gone. Come back to us as soon as you get those boots off!
Love to you all,
Wendy

Don’t tell me how wonderful things will be . . . some day.
Show me you can risk being completely at peace,
truly okay with the way things are right now in this moment,
and again in the next and the next and the next. . .

Johanne ~
What great splashes today! I'm partial to "What is a Boy" as it brought back so many memories of our boys when they were little.
I just love the following message. If it was already posted many pages ago, I apologize; but it's worth reading again!
Life Is...
A Mystery - Unfold it
A Journey - Walk it
Painful - Endure it
Beautiful - See it
A Joke - Laugh at it
Wonderful - Enjoy it
A Candle - Light it
Precious - Don't waste it
A Gift - Open it
Love - Give it
Unlimited - Go for it
Light - Shine in it
~Author Unknown~
Have a terrific day, everyone!
Rita

Amber and dear friends...
How about an "ingenious" but funny plate as the main entrée...
A police officer had a perfect hiding place for watching for speeders. But one day, everyone was under the speed limit, the officer found the problem: a 10 year old boy was standing on the side of the road with a huge hand painted sign which said "RADAR TRAP AHEAD."
A little more investigative work led the officer to the boy's accomplice, another boy about 100 yards beyond the radar trap with a sign reading "TIPS" and a bucket at his feet, full of change.
Thought of sharing this with you as Grand-maman Jewel has mentionned something about this in one of her posts...

Irene, I have to totally agree with you. I think I said in another post that my life has changed alot since I first heard Michael sing. Things within me have changed even more after seeing Michael live. He really makes you feel like you are important as a person and as a fan. I know artists say there fans are important, but Michael has a way to make you feel important. Whether it's from his music, his humor or the interaction and eye contact with the audience..it all feels genuine. That is during the show. Meeting him in person...even for a minute or two..he also has a way to make you feel special or important..even if you don't think you are. BTW, I thought it was great he was carrying his own luggage out to the bus. It's something small, but I think it says he is still grounded.
I don't think I said that the way I wanted, but I think you can understand what I mean.
Ok, I need to sign off now..I think I am going to get emotional!

Dear Grand-maman Jewel, Grand-maman Buttercup and Bublé friends...
You certainly know how to pick me up from the "bottom", help me dust myself off and be happy again. You also know how to make me smile and laugh from the heart...
Grand-maman Jewel...
Your post about men and women... It's soooo true!!! There's major differences between us that certainly contribute to huge "clashes" but when we "click", boy do we "click"...
When you find a person that can truly accept you for who you really are without wanting to change a thing about you... that's when you know that you have found a true friend and a soulmate.
Thanks for the smiles and the loving touch...
Grand-maman Buttercup...
I just looooooove your story about labor pains... Raising children is certainly a labor of love and we all know that there's a very fine line between love and pain. I don't know anything about labor pains but I certainly know about the pain of loving and caring. It goes hand in hand... Thanks for the reminder and thanks for the laughs!!!
Wendy...
I love, love, love your "church..." post!!!! It's hilarious!!! I have cramps so much you got me laughing!!! Oh my stomach hurts!!!
Laurie...
Who's talking about mutiny??? You are a bad, bad girl indeed!!! Capitain Bluttering Futterfly... What are we to do about her??? Hahahahaha!!!
Blossom/Oohanne/Johanne (the girl with too many names and then some...)
