He has the charisma of a good-natured drunk (think Dean Martin), which appealed to the guys at Webster. They should be careful - he also has the magnetism to steal their girlfriends in a blink. Which is just what he did.
aww! what a lovely lady!

I loved loved the article...."He is a study of contradictions".....Is that ever the
statement of the day....It is exactly what he is
selling...That he is one of a kind....Michael has the charm and charisma to make you love what
ever he does.....

I agree Sam! I've seen Michael perform in a lot of different venues and never once was he "Rumpled" or "Gawky" Hey, each to their own I guess!
Thanks for posting Bobby!

Great review.... It certainly described Michael's personality and demeanor to a T...
I think the reviewer meant that he isn't stiff and "proper" in his presentation of himself. You know... the tie, isn't tied "tight"... he has kind of a relaxed physicality. I too it as though it was meant as a compliment.

Daryl,
I agree. Having the wonderful opportunity to be there, I thought Michael was relaxed, confident, warm, and incredibly sexy!
His movements were not so much awkward, as totally relaxed and self confident...and he was, as always, just having so much fun on stage!
Jesse got the benefit of having him sing a few bars of one song to her...and what a thrill that was for both of us!
When I figure out how to post my photos, I will do so on Irene's thread!
Cyberhugs to all,
Andrea

quote:What separates Bublé from other neo-traditionalists is that he tries to reinvent standards. He's conversational when he sings and looks the audience in the eye. He's mastered the art of hesitance in his phrasing, which allows him to lay down familiar lyrics, sung thousands of times by others, as if he's making the words up as he goes.
This critic knows his stuff.

I think this guy was trying to tell us
Michael is still warm but still "Bubbly"....
Isn't that fizzy?.......Anyway we already know
what this guy is.....When he sings...He puts his
personal stamp on what he is about....There is
nothing left to wonder....Like the old saying..
"Variety is the spice of life?".....Michael is
our spice....And all the flavors on his album
are proof.....Michael knows where to add a pinch
of this and a pinch of that.....To perfection...
And the feast?...Is called..."Call me Irresponsible"........{Drum roll}....Yeaaaaaah!}
Gram Irene....

BOBBY MY DEAR, THANK YOU. YOU ARE SO GOOD TO US. LOVED THE PART THAT SAID,HE'S "CONVERSATIONAL" WHEN HE SINGS. HE SURE IS. WHEN HE LOOKS STRAIGHT IN THE EYES OF THE AUDIENCE, THE CONVERSATION NEVER ENDS.
