Michael at Webster Hall April 30

Webster Hall holds 1400 people. There is a main floor and a wrap around balcony, usually reserved for VIPs. I was there for a Cheap Trick Christmas Party a couple of years ago - it was a radio station event. While there were a lot of people there, we didn't feel uncomfortable. Good views from the back (the stage is high enough).
Does anybody have an extra ticket to Michael's show? I'm dying to go. I am so close by. It's like having Haagen Dazs in the freezer and you're not allowed to have any!
Please email me at liznyny@aol.com if you can spare one. I'll treat you to drinks all night and be forever grateful!

Did you win tickets via his fan club? I could not believe they emailed me today - i really never imagined I would win. But if the place holds 1400 people, chances are it was not too hard to win - given most people were probably local that tried to win them - ??

What is sickening is that some of those people are already trying to sell them. The Radio City show last year was frustrating enough. What I had to go through to get seats for my family. Everybody's a scalper these days. Oh well, got my fingers crossed that a Michael miracle will occur...

Hmmm...then the people scalping them are industry people. Nice.
Funny story (well not really funny) - I offered to buy a pair of tickets to Jersey Boys on Broadway last year for face value - the 4th of July show. The woman selling was the STAR of another show. When I got to her theater to pick up the tickets, she pulled a fast one and told me that someone offered her TRIPLE what I was offering and unless I was willing to pay the extra money ($650), she couldn't sell them to me. My friend and I were shocked. A Broadway star icing tickets. That's a big no no in theater. Couldn't believe it. My holiday was ruined.

Yup, if I wanted to stoop as low as her, I could have reported her to the production office of Jersey Boys and her own show. She'd be blacklisted from house seats and have her reputation tarnished. But, I decided not to go there. I did sent her an email that night telling her how foolish she was to jeopardize her reputation for a lousy $650. My neighbor is well-known in the theater industry and we could have easily gotten her in trouble. Maybe next time she'll think twice before screwing someone who supports her industry. Really a low thing to do. My friend travelled two hours to see the show with me. I felt so bad.

You lucky girl! There shouldn't be an age limit. Lots of people go to concerts at Webster Hall. It's in the Broadway district and there's no age limit for any of the theaters there. How did you find out you won? Did they call you? I was hoping to win tickets. I'll keep my fingers crossed!
